World Access for the Blind appreciates and respects the good intentions and worthy contributions of all who act on behalf of the blind. It has been a long and difficult endeavor - the fruits of which are just now being born. In a united spirit, let us applaud our efforts, and accept our mistakes as well-meant opportunities for growth. With grace and renewed purpose, let our eyes be opened, blind and sighted together, to See the World in a New Light.
World Access for the Blind is a not-for-profit organization that was awarded 501(c)3 status by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) so all your contributions are tax deductible to the maximum extent allowed by law in the United States. We invite your involvement and support. Collaborations: World Access for the Blind invites collaborations with technical and professional experts who believe in equal access to the world by the blind. We are happy to consult in special projects that work toward this end. Equipment and resources: We can benefit from contributions of monetary funding or underwriting; equipment for recreation and sports (cycling, camping and backpacking, ball sports, nutritional supplements and nonperishable food items, protective gear, other); office supplies, machines, and furniture; cleaning supplies; computer; technical and lab; blindness materials (Braillers and paper, CCTV'S, 4 track recorders, computer, other). |
